Jackery presents its first own balcony power plant

Jackery has some exciting news to announce. The expert in modern energy solutions has unveiled its first own balcony power plant – the Jackery Navi 2000.

Jackery enters the balcony power plant sector

Balcony power stations are becoming increasingly popular. After all, not every average consumer has a large roof area available for the installation of large-format PV panels. The compact collectors of solar energy are a welcome alternative. So it was only a matter of time before Jackery jumped on the bandwagon of success. This has now happened.

With the Jackery Navi 2000, the company has presented a balcony power station that looks like a conventional power station at first glance. But appearances are deceptive. Thanks to an integrated inverter, a PV controller and EMS, you can use the newcomer as a compact PV system for your balcony or garden shed. Jackery would also like to offer the whole thing in a bundle with four solar panels with a total output of 800 watts.

If you prefer panels from other manufacturers, that shouldn’t be a problem either. After all, the system offers extensive compatibility with other models thanks to the MC4 connection. Of course, the company cannot hide where its roots lie with the Jackery Navi 2000. The energy storage unit can also be used very conveniently as a mobile power station. Thanks to the Schuko plug, you can connect pretty much any electronic device here.

Jackery promises user convenience

Jackery also wants to score points in terms of convenience. The system, which is weatherproof to IP65 standard and can be used at temperatures between -20 and 55°C, can be installed without drilling. Special brackets for the panels should in turn allow them to be used in various scenarios. And the usual handling should also ensure convenience.

For example, it should be possible to expand the system from 2,000 Wh to a total capacity of 8,000 Wh using additional battery packs. Thanks to the integration of important hardware such as the inverter inside the power station, a lot of cable clutter is also eliminated. Of course, Jackery also promises that the system will operate in compliance with the law.

Price and availability

Jackery plans to launch the Navi 2000 on June 6. If you are quick, you can currently secure an attractive early bird discount of 399 euros. To do so, you must purchase the so-called “Stay tuned voucher” for 1 euro between May 16 and June 5, 2024. There will then be a 400 euro discount on the balcony power station. According to the manufacturer, the final price of the system will be less than 2,000 euros.
