The electronics manufacturer LG recently introduced three new mid-range smartphones with the new K-Series. The special thing about them: The three new models K61, K51S and K41S all have a quad camera on the back.
LG K61, K51S and K41S: Specifications of the quad cameras
Each quad camera consists of a main camera with a wide angle lens, an ultra wide angle lens, a macro lens and a depth sensor for bokeh effects. The Selfie camera is mounted as a punch-hole on the front. The top model K61 offers sensors with a 48 megapixel main camera (best resolution of an LG smartphone camera), 8 megapixels for the ultra-wide angle sensor, 5 megapixels for the macro sensor and 2 megapixels for the depth sensor. The K51S is at 32, 5, 2 and 2 megapixel resolutions, while the K41S is at 13, 5, 2 and 2 megapixel resolutions.
The display on all three K-Series models is 6.5 inches in size, and the K61 has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with Full HD Plus resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, while the 51S and K41S have a 20:9 aspect ratio with HD Plus resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Inside the LG K61 and K51S is an unknown 2.3 GHz octa-core processor – the K41S runs at 2 GHz. 4 GB RAM and either 64 GB memory or 128 GB memory are used in the top model K61. The K51S has 3 GB RAM and 64 GB memory and the K41S offers 3 GB RAM and 32 GB memory. In all three models a 4,000 mAh battery provides the necessary juice.
LG K61, K51S and K41S: Prices and availability
LG has not yet provided price information for the individual models of the K-Series. According to LG, the new models are supposed to be priced in the middle class segment. So it remains to be seen whether LG can keep this promise. The LG K61, K51S and K41S should be released in Germany from April 2020.
