The manufacturer had already teased the MSI RadiX AXE6600 WiFi 6E Tri-Band Gaming Router in January, and now the fast and RGB-lit router is making its way to retailers.
The MSI RadiX AXE6600 WiFi 6E Tri-Band Gaming Router in detail
At CES 2022, the MSI RadiX AXE6600 WiFi 6E Tri-Band Gaming Router was already in theme, and now it’s slowly making its way to retail. It marks the manufacturer’s first wireless router and of course comes with extensive RGB lighting.
This gaming router offers 3 wireless connectivity options, including 2.4GHz, 5GHz and the new 6GHz standard, with a total speed of up to 6600Mbps in the cutting-edge Wi-Fi 6E standard.
The router works with MSI AI QoS software, which automatically prioritizes network traffic to reliably enable low latency. The manufacturer does not go into too much detail at the moment, but a 1.8 GHz quad-core CPU from Qualcomm is said to be working inside, which is also cooled excellently thanks to the heatsink and a heat pipe arrangement.
MSI is also introducing the AX1800 WiFi USB Adapter, which provides an instant upgrade to WiFi 6 for PCs or laptops via a USB-A port. Not much else is known about the MSI RadiX AXE6600 at this time, but hopefully that will change in the coming days. The router is expected to launch in the third or fourth quarter of 2022.
Just a few days ago, MSI showed off the exciting Notebook Prestige 16. It relies on the latest Intel i7-1280P, 32 GB of RAM, and an exciting mini-LED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, which also fully covers the DCI-P3 color space.
