MWC 2024: Can we expect a foldable from Honor?

This year, we can once again admire exciting technology highlights at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Honor will also be there. The Chinese smartphone expert has revealed an exciting foldable that is particularly impressive in terms of value for money.

Interview with Honor boss provides clues

We have not yet been able to admire any pictures of the upcoming foldable smartphone. However, George Zhao, CEO of Honor, has raised some expectations in an interview with CNBC. In contrast to the Honor Magic V2, the new foldable will not have a foldable design. Instead, the company is apparently pursuing the flip design approach. As a result, the new foldable smartphone is likely to be significantly smaller than the Magic V2. Unfortunately, that’s all the initial information on the new hardware from the former Huawei subsidiary. For example, it would be important to know what price range the new smartphone will be in.

Much is still unknown

We can only hope that it will be cheaper than the Magic V2. The latter has a proud RRP of 1,999.90 euros. This is not really suitable for the masses. For this reason, it can be strongly assumed that Honor will take a different step with its new foldable. Unfortunately, the CEO was not only silent on the price of the smartphone.

He also did not provide more detailed technical data in the interview. However, since the Honor boss gave a hint in the interview, it probably won’t be long before we get more information about the Chinese company’s upcoming gadget. What is certain is that Honor will once again come up with a surprise at the MWC. It was no different last year when they presented a silicon-carbon battery.
