Those who like to use their smartphone to read e-books and other texts have reason to rejoice. This is because the POCO F5 Pro relies on a WQHD+ display that can display a whole 53,652 characters and thus provides more space for texts. The manufacturer will officially unveil its new all-round flagship smartphone on May 09, 2023.

WQHD+ stands for a particularly high resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels (FHD+ comes to 2,400 x 1,800 pixels). Thus, the total number of pixels almost doubles in a direct comparison: 4.608 million pixels in WHD+ are compared to 2.592 million pixels in FHD+.

The higher resolution of the POCO F5 Pro display allows content and details from high-definition videos, for example, to be displayed more clearly, resulting in a more real and vivid image.

The same goes for games like Genshin Impact, which get more detail on the screen and wow with higher-resolution textures and richer colors. The WQHD+ resolution is also an advantage when editing your own photos, just like when reading e-books, PDFs and other texts. Up to 53,652 characters can be displayed on the POCO F5 Pro’s 6.67-inch WQHD+ display in razor-sharp detail.

The display is also bright and easy on the eyes

However, the display of the POCO F5 Pro has even more to offer. Not only does it offer a particularly high resolution, but it even gets extremely bright at 1,400 nits, which makes for excellent outdoor readability.

For example, the 120 Hz fast AMOLED display offers 1,920 Hz fast PWM dimming and is easier on the eyes than many other devices with lower-frequency PWM dimming. Videos and movies can be displayed in HDR for more vivid images and contrast.

Even away from the display, the POCO F5 Pro is a true flagship smartphone. It is powered by the fast and efficient Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm, which achieves over a million points in the AnTuTu benchmark and works particularly efficiently thanks to the 4 nm manufacturing process.

It achieves up to 58 fps in the Genshin Impact benchmark and is thus well equipped for even the most demanding mobile games.

Mobile photographers will be happy about a camera system that has it all: The POCO F5 Pro has a 64-megapixel triple camera with optical image stabilizer (OIS) and a new movie function. Thanks to motion detection, razor-sharp photos can also be taken of moving objects such as children or animals. Professional videos can be recorded in 8K resolution, while movements always remain sharp thanks to Motion Tracking Focus.
