Porsche Design PDT60: Noble TWS in-ear headphones presented

With the Porsche Design PDT60, we will get noble true-wireless in-ear headphones before the end of 2021, which want to convince with a puristic and noble design as well as strong features. The price of the premium headphones has it accordingly but also in itself.

The features of the Porsche Design PDT60

The Porsche Design PDT60 headphones rely on an equally simple as noble design, which is composed of a case made of satin aluminum and leather elements (40 percent aluminum, 40 percent plastic and 20 percent leather).

But the in-ear headphones also want to convince from a technical point of view. They radio with the audio source via Bluetooth 5.0 and are equipped with 8 mm neodymium drivers, which should ensure strong acoustics.

The Porsche Design logo on the outer sides serves as a touch surface, which is responsible for the operation. In addition, the PDT60s are protected against water and dust thanks to IPX5 certification. Wear detection via infrared sensors is also provided, pausing playback when an earbud is removed and resuming it when the earbud is put back in place.

About 20 hours of battery life

Also offered is an Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) feature that is supposed to effectively suppress ambient noise. An Electronic Noise Cancelling (ENC) also ensures clear intelligibility during phone calls.

With active ANC, the Porsche Design PDT60 last for around 5 hours. In combination with the charging case, another 15 hours are added, bringing us to a total of 20 hours of battery life.

Charging is via USB Type-C with Fast Charge. After only 15 minutes, the TWS in-ears are fit again for an hour of music playback. Wireless charging according to the Qi standard is also possible. The charging case turns out quite lush with dimensions of 20 mm x 50 mm x 70 mm and a weight of around 100 grams.

The Porsche Design PDT60s are available now in silver at the manufacturer’s shop as well as Porsche Design stores and retailers. The manufacturer’s RRP is 299.00 euros.
