Razer Firefly V2 Pro: Gaming mouse pad comes with LED backlighting

Gaming mouse pads with an illuminated frame are no longer a novelty. However, the Razer Firefly V2 Pro marks a real world first, as it is the first gaming mouse pad with LED backlighting.

The Razer Firefly V2 Pro in detail

The Razer Firefly V2 Pro has a total of 15 individually adjustable lighting zones, which can also be synchronized with the rest of the setup via Razer Chrome RGB. The mouse pad has a matte surface that is designed to further enhance the lighting effect of the LED strip. It is also particularly low-friction, which should be an advantage in games.

The lighting of the Razer Firefly V2 Pro can be adjusted using the manufacturer’s Synapse software. The lighting is available in 16.8 million colors and can be adjusted in numerous patterns and effects.

The illumination shines through the unit on the top of the mouse pad and then extends over the frame to the entire mouse pad.

Thanks to a rubberized underside, the 360 mm wide, 278 mm high and 5.6 mm thick gaming mouse pad adheres securely to all surfaces. It is connected via a detachable USB-C cable and has an additional USB-A port, which is intended for the mouse’s wireless dongle, for example.
