With the Razer Stream Controller, the manufacturer expands its streaming lineup with a deck that is in the same vein as the Elgato Stream Deck (our review). However, Razer’s all-in-one solution allows for endless shortcuts, offers easy multitasking and intuitive operation.
Razer Stream Controller: The deck for more control
The Razer Stream Controller aims to give streamers and content creators full control. The user interface is designed for maximum clarity, with a focus on multitasking and customization. The 12 haptic Switchblade buttons can be defined with an infinite number of actions and macros.
The icons on the touchscreen are customizable for faster visual navigation. In addition, there are six tactile analog knobs that can adjust your audio settings on-the-fly. For example, you can quickly and easily fine-tune audio, media, and other channels.
Created in collaboration with Loopdeck, the Stream Controller is based on the Loupedeck Live (our review), whose design largely echoes the Razer model. Including the dynamic LCD touchscreen and eight programmable buttons, which also cover different workspaces in dedicated layouts.
Thus, different actions are available to you for streaming than for photo and video editing or design, for example.
The Razer Stream Controller’s new software allows gamers, content creators and live streamers to combine all the tools they need on a single platform. It’s operated with a user-friendly interface that lets you customize actions via drag-and-drop, for example.
New actions can be found via the marketplace. This will be constantly expanded with new plugins, profiles or icon packs. Of course, you can also create your own actions and execute entire series of actions at the push of a button using macros.
An all-in-one solution, the Razer Stream Controller aims to cover all areas of streaming, editing, design, and control, optimizing your stream thanks to intuitive operation.
