With the Roborock Dyad(test) and Dyad Pro, Roborock already has two vacuum sweepers on the market. However, as with many other devices in this product category, it is not possible to mop under flat furniture. This is set to change with the Flexi series. Thanks to a special head joint, Roborock Flexi Pro and Flexi Pro Lite can also work lying flat on the floor.
Roborock Flexi Pro irons out Achilles’ heel
When it comes to cleaning performance, experience has shown that Roborock’s previous vacuum sweepers were beyond reproach. However, there was always a slight lack of ease of use. This is not due to the complicated handling, but rather the bulky, thick design. This meant that you couldn’t reach many areas of your home.
With the Flexi series, the company is now bringing a breath of fresh air to its own lineup. Following the example of an Osotek Horizon H200(test), the new Roborock Flexi Pro and Lite can also be laid flat on the floor. Thanks to a suction power of 17,000 Pascal, they should still be able to offer a powerful cleaning performance.
Powerful features in the Roborock Flexi Pro
In addition to the flat design and good suction power, Roborock aims to score points with helpful features, especially in the Roborock Flexi Pro. The Pro model not only has an LED light on the front. On top of that, the cleaning roller is rimless, which means you can easily drive along skirting boards on both sides without leaving a dirty edge.
The 4,000 mAh battery is supposed to provide a runtime of up to 50 minutes. There are also practical little helpers such as the DirTect dirt sensor and a practical LED display, which allows you to keep an eye on the most important parameters at all times. The SlideTech motorization of the wheels actively supports you when moving forwards and backwards with the vacuum wiper.
The Pro also has an app connection for advanced operation. Of course, there is also a self-cleaning function. The Pro model cleans itself with hot water and then dries itself with hot air. The smart household helper should take just under half an hour to completely dry the cleaning roller.
Prices and availability
The Roborock Flexi Lite comes without LED lighting, app support, rimless brush design, self-cleaning with hot water, wheel drive and with a smaller battery and water tank. The RRP for the Lite version is EUR 349, which is also significantly lower than the EUR 599 RRP that Roborock charges for the Flexi Pro.
