Roborock Qrevo MaxV: Innovative vacuum and mopping robot goes on sale

Whether in the entry-level, mid-range or top class, we have already seen for ourselves several times in tests that the robotic vacuum cleaners from manufacturer Roborock have a lot to offer. Most recently, for example, in the case of the impressive Roborock Q8 Max . With the Roborock Qrevo MaxV, an innovative new product is now going on sale.

The Roborock Qrevo MaxV in detail

Roborock presented the second member of the Qrevo series to the public at CES 2024 in January and held out the prospect of a release in spring. The innovative Qrevo MaxV is now available in stores. In terms of features, it is once again positioned above the roborock Q Revo from last year.

The new vacuum and mopping robot uses the manufacturer’s new FlexiArm design, which even removes dust and dirt from the furthest corners thanks to its edge mopping system. Thanks to the flexible robot arm, an edge coverage of 98.8 percent is achieved at a distance of just 1.85 mm.

The new model has a suction power of a whopping 7,000 Pa and is able to lift mops and solid rubber brushes to clean carpets effectively.

The Qrevo MaxV combines precise laser navigation with AI obstacle detection and avoidance, thanks to which it moves reliably through the home. according to the manufacturer, the small robot is able to recognize 62 different types of objects. At the same time, it also recognizes room and floor types to recommend suitable cleaning solutions.

The scope of delivery includes the multifunctional docking station 2.0, which not only empties the dust container of the vacuum and mopping robot, but also cleans the mops with 60°C hot water and then dries them with 45°C warm air and refills the water tank.

Hello Rocky: Intelligent voice assistant on board

Another innovation of the Roborock Qrevo MaxV is the voice assistant, which responds to “Hello Rocky” without an active Wi-Fi connection. This makes it possible to start or pause cleaning by shouting or to let the little helper know that it should please keep the children’s room tidy.

Thanks to the integrated camera, the device is also suitable for real-time video calls including two-way audio if you want to communicate with your pet or children while you’re out and about.

Price and availability

The Roborock Qrevo MaxV is now available in stores, but is currently only available at MediaMarkt and Saturn. The vacuum and mopping robot starts there with a discount at a price of 949 euros.

The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is 999 euros, and the Qrevo MaxV is likely to find its way into the Amazon store shortly. The somewhat less well-equipped roborock Qrevo is currently available there for just €699.00 thanks to a coupon with a whopping €150 discount.
