Robosen Robotics: Optimus Prime comes as a controllable robot
You are a passionate fan of Transformers and always wanted to have your very own Optimus Prime? Just in time for the release of the latest film in the series “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, Robosen Robotics has now launched a treat for all friends of the franchise around the hybrid creatures of car and robot. It is not a simple action figure. Instead, the manufacturer wants to breathe life into Optimus Prime by launching the figure as a programmable robot.
Optimus Prime comes as a programmable robot
The Transformers franchise is certainly considered one of the most successful worldwide. Thus, the series scores not only with various film spin-offs. On top of that, the shelves of many toy stores are bulging with products that relate to the series. Now, with “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” another film installment is finding its way into theaters. Robosen Robotics, an expert in robotics and manufacturer of advanced entertainment robots, is taking this as an opportunity to launch an Optimus Prime. The company plans to offer a total of two editions. Regardless of which one you choose, they are supposed to score with lots of accessories. The different functions that the robot is supposed to offer are especially cool. You should be able to program many different motion sequences via voice control or app.
Collectors in particular should enjoy the high build quality and attention to detail. After all, the 42 cm high and 1.6 kg heavy piece of consumer electronics also fits perfectly in the collector’s showcase at home. But not only people with a passion for collecting are addressed here. Once you bring Optimus Prime to life, you should be able to feel the expertise of Robosen Robotics. This applies to the extensive control options and movements. The fact that the robot communicates with the original voice from the movies should be really cool. So you might get the feeling that you are actually dealing with a mini version of the walking robot.

A lot of technology under the hood
The extensive motion sequences do not come by chance, of course. Rather, Robosen Robotics has given its little Optimus Prime plenty of technology. A total of 21 high-precision servo motors and 6-axis gyroscope set the 40 moving parts in motion. The basis for this is 69 microchips, which are supposed to reliably process the commands entered. Thus, the mini-robot should be pleasingly agile.
If you want to control it by voice, you can use 16 pre-programmed commands for this purpose, to which the robot should be able to respond adequately. If you prefer to control it via app, the range of possible inputs should be even larger. Robosen Robotics wants to make new movements available for download at any time. Thus, the Optimus Prime should have a gigantic portfolio of possible movements over time. Whole choreographies of the robot should be possible here.
