gamescom 2024 is in full swing, and Samsung has attracted the attention of the gaming community with a series of impressive new products. From August 23 to 27, the company will be presenting a colorful variety of products and technologies that will make the hearts of gamers and technology lovers beat faster. With the motto “Play as you are”, Samsung will be demonstrating how diverse the gaming world can be at this year’s trade fair and offering solutions for every type of gamer.

Odyssey at the gamescom 2024
Samsung is presenting an exciting concept with the Odyssey 3D monitor. It will be exhibited in 37-inch and 27-inch versions at Gamescom. Using Lightfield Display (LFD) technology and a lenticular lens, the gaming monitor creates impressive 3D images from 2D content – without the need for glasses. Supported by eye-tracking and view-mapping technologies, gamers can experience a new dimension of gaming.
It features a 4K resolution display, a fast gray-to-grey (GTG) response time of 1 ms and a high refresh rate of 165 Hz. In addition, the Odyssey 3D has an ergonomic design with a height-adjustable stand, can be tilted and supports FreeSync Premium.
Samsung will also be showing the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9. It is the first in-house OLED monitor to combine dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) with a 32:9 ratio. The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 comes in at 32 inches and offers a 4K resolution including OLED Glarefree, a frame rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms.
The Odyssey OLED G6 and the Odyssey Neo G9 in 57 inches are also on display. Gaming fans will also find the Odyssey Neo G8 in the Storage Area and the Smart Monitor M70D. In addition to the new storage solutions and the latest gaming monitors, Samsung will also be presenting exciting technologies for gamers from the TV and audio sector. These include the Neo QLED 8K flagship QN900D in 75 inches. The Smart TV offers 240Hz in 4K, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos including OTS Pro.
