The Seagate FireCuda Lightsaber Collection in detail

Seagte and Star Wars once again make common cause in the form of the Seagate FireCuda Lightsaber Collection. Interchangeable front panels for the SSD’s heat sink in the style of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker, as well as configurable RGB LED lighting, ensure that the iconic lightsabers of the cult series shine inside your gaming PC.

This makes the PCIe 4.0 SSD the latest member of the manufacturer’s Star Wars Special Editions, which include external hard drives or SATA SSDs, for example. The FireCuda PCIe 4.0 SSD was also already available in the Beskar look, matching the cult series The Mandalorian on Disney+.

In terms of pure SSD performance, the FireCuda comes in at up to 7,300 MB/s sequential read and 6,000 MB/s sequential write and comes mi M.2 22280 format. A slim heatsink designed by EKWB minimizes thermal throttling and ensures peak performance over an extended period of time.

“The SSD features customizable RGB LED lighting that shines through the front panel, adding a moody, galactic atmosphere to the gaming setup,” according to the manufacturer.

Offered with up to 2 terabytes of capacity, the Seagate FireCuda Lightsaber Collection has a 1.8 million MTBF lifespan and offers up to 2,250 TBW. It also offers three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services for data recovery and a five-year limited warranty. Alternatively, however, the NVMe SSD is also available with a storage capacity of 1 terabyte.
