Teamgroup introduces T-FORCE CARDEA Z44Q PCIe 4.0 SSD

The Taiwanese manufacturer Teamgroup has introduced a new high-speed SSD. So out comes T-FORCE CARDEA Z44Q PCIe4.0 SSD with large capacity and powerful cooling.

Various specifications

Teamgroup’s new new PCIe 4.0 SSD comes with two patented cooling modules, PCIe Gen4x4 interface and QLC flash. At the same time, it supports the latest NVMe 1.4 standard and comes up with enormous capacities of up to 4 TB. Whether gamer or consumer, no wishes should remain unfulfilled, depending on the desire, the most diverse specifications are possible. Performance, cooling and capacity are easy to choose.

Supporting the NVMe 1.4 standard and the latest PCIe Gen4x4 interface, it is also compatible with the PCIe Gen3.0 interface without any problems. In terms of read speed, the SSD reaches 5000 MB/s and write is said to be possible up to 4000 MB/s. Thus, the SSD is up to ten times faster than conventional SSDs. Thus, the new SSD from Teamgroup is a top choice for gamers in terms of speed, capacity and also cooling. The read and write speeds were determined in laboratory tests and can still differ depending on the platform.

Two patented cooling modules

Thanks to the two patented cooling modules of the T-FORCE CARDEA Z44Q PCIe4.0 SSD, the user has a free choice. The cooling effects can be multiplied with the high-strength aluminum heat sink, and at the same time, easy installation and low interference are offered by the patented ultra-thin grapheme heat sink. In doing so, the two heatsinks provide effective cooling for the SSD, making them the perfect complement for cooling and performance. Thus, the user only has to choose one of the two heatsinks. The SSD is compatible with both AMD and Intel platforms.

Availability and pricing

When the new SSD from Teamgroup will come out here in Germany has not yet been announced. In terms of price, the 2 TB variant should probably be at 350 US dollars and the 4 TB variant at 690 US dollars. The manufacturer gives a warranty of five years.
