TeamGroup Presents T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB DDR5 With RGB Lighting

Manufacturer TeamGroup is expanding its own gaming label T-FORCE with a high-performance new DDR5 RAM including RGB lighting. TeamGroup T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB is the name of the new product, which is designed to combine an appealing look with impressive performance.

The TeamGroup T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB DDR5 RAM in detail

TeamGroup is expanding the RAM portfolio in its own T-FORCE gaming series with a new model including ARGB lighting. This is nothing new in itself, as the Delta RGB or Delta Alpha RGB already offer DDR5 RAM with lighting in black or white.

XTREEM ARGB RAM components were also already available in 2019, albeit with DDR4 memory at the time. The newly introduced T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB RAM, on the other hand, relies on modern DDR5 memory and comes with frequencies of 7,600 MHz, 8,000 MHz or 8,200 MHz.

The memory with 7,600 MHz has a timing of CL36 and thus achieves a memory bandwidth of 60,800 MB/s, all other models rely on CL38 with 65,600 MB/s bandwidth. The 48.5 mm x 134.5 mm x 8.2 mm RAM modules are available in capacities of 32 GB (2x 16 GB) and 48 GB (2x 24 GB).

Strong cooling performance and security

The RAM modules are equipped with a 2 mm thick aluminum heat spreader, which is not only said to be particularly robust, it is also said to be able to reduce temperatures by 10 percent compared to other solutions.

In combination with the unique design and improved power management, the TeamGroup T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB DDR5 RAM is said to offer significantly better cooling even in demanding scenarios. In an unspecified comparison by the manufacturer, the new RAM reaches a maximum of 46.5°C, while solutions without an aluminum heat spreader reach 72.3°C.

The PCB of the main memory is based on ten layers, which should be professionally optimized and protected from interference. On-die ECC is intended to enable fast error detection and correction and thus improve the performance and stability of the system. TeamGroup offers a lifetime guarantee on the RAM.

Attractive lighting

The TeamGroup T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB DDR5 RAM has an attractive design that relies on two light tubes. These allow for soft RGB lighting which, according to the manufacturer, is based on auroras.

Numerous RGB software solutions such as ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASROCK-Polychrome Sync or BIOSTAR Advanced VIVID LED DJ are also supported in order to synchronize the lighting with the rest of the setup.

The RAM components themselves have a matt black color scheme. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not reveal whether a white model will follow.

Prices and availability

TeamGroup has not yet revealed any details about the price of the T-FORCE XTREEM ARGB DDR5 RAM. The RAM will initially be available in the USA, where the market launch is planned for the end of March 2024. There is no date yet for Europe. Further details can be found on the manufacturer’s product website.
