The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G: 120W charging and 108MP camera

On paper, the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G boasts strong specifications. Here, the manufacturer relies on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, which is manufactured using the 6nm manufacturing process and is thus supposed to realize high performance with low battery consumption at the same time. It offers clock rates of up to 2.5 GHz and naturally supports the 5G standard.

It is supported by either 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4 working memory, as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 system storage. The storage can also be expanded by up to 1 TB via microSD card.

The Note 11 Pro+ 5G uses a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED dot display (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. It comes with a typical brightness of 700 nits and a maximum of 1,200 nits, and the contrast ratio is 4.5 million to 1.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is also the first Redmi smartphone to come with wired 120W HyperCharge. This is said to allow the 4,500 mAh battery to be charged to full 100 percent in just 15 minutes.

The device is equipped with dual charging pumps to improve the flow of electricity into the battery for faster charging. In addition, the device has more than 40 charging and battery safety features, as well as TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System certification to ensure overall charging safety and stability.

Strong camera setup

Xiaomi hasn’t skimped on the cameras on the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G either. It features a 108MP main camera (f/1.8 aperture), which is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide (f/2.2, 120-degree field of view) and a 2MP telephoto macro camera.

The main camera is equipped with a Samsung HM2 sensor and dual-native ISO. The front camera sits in a centrally placed punch hole at the top edge and resolves at 16 megapixels (aperture: f/2.4).

Not quite as powerful, but also exciting, turns out the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 5G. Here, the manufacturer installs a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with dual-5G SIM support. The Redmi Note 11S 5G uses the energy-efficient 6nm manufacturing process and a large 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 33 watts.

The 6.6-inch Full HD+ DotDisplay (2400 x 1080 pixels) comes with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. In addition, the smartphone has a 3.5 mm jack, which is hard to believe.

When it comes to the camera setup, the Note 11S 5G relies on a triple camera on the back, which consists of a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2, 119-degree field of view), and a 2-megapixel macro camera. At the front, there is a selfie cam that resolves with 12 megapixels and features an aperture of f/2.4.

The Redmi 10 5G: The most affordable model

The devicewith dual 5G SIM support is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with an octa-core CPU of up to 2.2GHz, delivering extra efficient performance. It also features a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera.
