Zalman CNPS10X Performa: Minimalist cpu cooler released

The new CNPS10X Performa cpu cooler from Zalman combines a minimalist, classy design with high cooling performance. The all-black tower cooler is equipped with a 135 mm Performa fan and offers high cooling performance at a particularly low noise level.

Zalman CNPS10X Performa in detail

Four copper heatpipes that rest directly on the CPU provide the Zalman CNPS10X Performa with an effective heat transfer into the aluminum fins. The four heatpipes in DHT design run through the base plate in such a way that they directly touch the processor. Thus, the contact area is both aluminum and copper.

The fast heat transfer allows for the considerable 180W TDP for a cooler of this size. The asymmetrical arrangement of the pipes allows compatibility with a wide variety of RAM modules.

The ring design of the fan blades creates a concentrated airflow without breaks to the sides. This allows the fan to achieve a particularly strong air pressure of 1.35 mm H2O. The long-life ERB bearing is more advanced than conventional sleeve bearings with its closed bearing housing. The design prevents dust from entering, achieving an average operating time of 50,000 hours with stable and nearly silent operation.

At the same time, the Zalman CNPS10X Performa remains quiet at all times with a noise level of only 27 dB(A) even at maximum speed. The speed can be adjusted between 700-1,500 rpm.
