Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro
Powerstations are now available in a wide range of sizes. Starting with models that fit in your backpack, there are also energy storage units at the other end of the scale that have to be transported from A to B like a rolling suitcase due to their weight. But there are also power stations that score points as all-rounders. Take the Explorer 1000 Pro, for example. Thanks to a weight of just 11.5 kg and a practical carrying handle, it can be carried comfortably. Nevertheless, the mobile energy storage unit measures 34 x 26.2 x 25.5 cm and comes with plenty of power.
A battery capacity of 1,002 Wh meets a strong output power of a constant 1,000 W here. Over shorter periods of time, even a peak power of 2,000 W is possible here. But in our extensive practical test, the energy storage did not only score with its performance and portability. The variety of ports also provided an extra portion of suitability for everyday use. Everyone is likely to find a suitable input for their electronic devices here. In addition to 2x Schuko sockets (230V, 1000W, peak 2000W), 2x USB-A, 2x USB-C as well as 2x DC and a car connection are available for selection.
Jackery Explorer 1500 Pro
The Explorer 1500 Pro is in many ways a comprehensive upgrade of the 1000 Pro. This is particularly true of capacity and performance. Thus, this model with 1,512 Wh already offers significantly more battery capacity than the 1000 Pro. The power is also much stronger than the slightly smaller model with 1,800 W of constant output power. However, this is also reflected in the weight. At 17 kg, the Explorer 1500 Pro weighs considerably more. You probably won’t be able to carry this energy storage unit over longer distances.
However, the way from the trunk to the campsite should be possible without any problems. The power station also shines when it comes to connection diversity. So you get here the selection offered, which can also show the Explorer 1000 Pro. The same applies to the display. It also shines with a lot of helpful information about battery status, input and output power. If the Explorer 1000 Pro is too small and the 1500 Pro is handy enough, this is the perfect power station for you.
Jackery Explorer 2000 Pro
Explorer 1000 and 1500 Pro are too small for you? Then you won’t have a problem with the rather heavy weight of the Explorer 2000 Pro. This power station is with its almost 20 kg no lightweight. However, it can easily be lifted into the trunk of a car or van. The practical carrying handle, which is also found on the two smaller Pro models, helps. In practice, the power station scores with performance and capacity. The total of 2,160 Wh provide a lot of endurance, which means it can supply you with enough energy for several days. This does not only apply to smartphones and tablets.
Thanks to an output power of a constant 2,200 W and a transient peak power of 4,400 W, this model won’t run out of steam anytime soon, even with power-hungry electrical appliances. This ensures that you can also use the power station on the construction site without any problems. A total of eight devices can be connected. Once the battery is empty, you benefit from the incredibly fast charging speed. The large battery is fully recharged within two hours via the household socket. You can ensure maximum independence by using suitable solar panels. The maximum input power via solar is 1,200 W, which means you have the entire battery recharged after just under two and a half hours.
Jackery Explorer 3000 Pro
You don’t compromise and are looking for a real powerhouse for on the road? Then you should take a look at the Explorer 3000 Pro. The fact that it is no lightweight becomes clear when you look at the data sheet. The power station weighs in at a hefty 29 kg. But Jackery has taken precautions in this regard. On the one hand, this model has two practical carrying handles. With their help, you can easily lift the Powerstation and take it out of the trunk, for example. If you have to cover longer distances, you can simply use the practical pull handle of the mobile energy storage unit. Once extended, you can easily roll it over the ground. You’ll quickly forget the high weight of the power station.
What may sound like a clunky piece of technology at first glance is a true lightweight in a compact format when compared directly with the competition. After all, other power stations with just under 3,000 Wh capacity and output power are often significantly larger and heavier. Jackery talks about a 30% lower weight than the competition here. With a total of three Schuko connections, more devices can be connected here than in the smaller models of the Pro series. Furthermore, you can enjoy the practical app control. This way, you can always keep an eye on the most important parameters.
