AceMagic M2A: Gaming-Mini-PC starts with RTX 3080

Around a week ago, AceMagic teased the M2A, a new gaming-ready mini PC. The AceMagic M2A has now been officially unveiled. It is based on an Intel Core i9-12900H and is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 as standard.

The AceMagic M2A in detail

The gaming-ready mini PC AceMagic M2A, which the manufacturer has now officially unveiled, promises impressive gaming performance in the smallest of spaces. In terms of design, the computing dwarf is reminiscent of a futuristic Razm ship, which of course also features RGB lighting – here on the front and on the wings.

However, the wings are not just a gimmick. On the underside, they ensure that fresh air is drawn in and can circulate. There are two fans on the sides, which also blow the warm air out of the PC. AceMagic describes the cooling system consisting of four fans and seven heat pipes as a 4D solution.

However, this effective cooling is also required, as the M2A is equipped with the Intel Core i9-12900H, which can access 14 computing cores with clock speeds of up to 5.0 GHz. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080 can be used as the GPU.

Neither of these are the latest components, but they are still perfectly suitable for demanding games, especially as the AceMagic M2A is significantly more compact than classic gaming PCs. The manufacturer specifies the TDP of the RTX 3080 as 115 watts, which means that there is plenty of graphics performance available.

Generous RAM, many connections

There is also 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 terabyte M.2 2280 SSD connected via PCIe 3.0. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the product website whether both can be replaced.

The mini PC communicates wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6. The connections are located at the back and don’t lack much. On offer:

  • 1x USB 4 Type-C
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2
  • 1x 2.5 GBit LAN
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 1x HDMI 2.0
  • 3x 3.5 mm jack

On the front, the AceMagic M2A has a display that enables real-time monitoring of GPU and CPU temperatures, provides information on frequencies and other data. It can also be extensively personalized.

Price and availability

The AceMagic M2A can be ordered immediately on the manufacturer’s website. It starts at an RRP of USD 1,399 in combination with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. An upgrade to the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 costs an additional USD 100, i.e. USD 1,499 or USD 1,599 respectively.

However, deliveries are currently only possible to the USA, but it can be assumed that the AceMagic M2A will also make it to Germany sooner or later.
