In addition to the Acer Nitro 14, the manufacturer has presented another gaming notebook with more powerful features. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 combines Intel Core Ultra processors from the Meteor Lake series with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and a 165 Hz display.

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 is the most compact model in the series to date and is a 14.5-inch model alongside the larger 16-inch and 18-inch gaming notebooks. However, there is no need to compromise on performance.
At its peak, the notebook is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with 16 cores and clock speeds of up to 5.1 GHz, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 with 8 GB VRAM. Again, the manufacturer does not provide any details on the RAM and system memory configuration.
To keep the components in check, Acer has equipped the device with a powerful cooling system. It combines a dual-fan system with a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan and Vortex Flow technology, liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU and wide vector heat pipes for better heat transfer and capacity.
High-resolution 165 Hz display
The Predator Helios Neo 14 has a screen diagonal of 14.5 inches or 36.8 centimeters and a WQXGA resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels. It offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz and 100% sRGB color space coverage including NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.
The notebook connects wirelessly to the network with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E, while USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI, 3.5 mm jack and a microSD card reader are available. Of course, AI technologies such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 with three microphones and noise suppression and an Acer PurifiedView webcam with AI-controlled video and image enhancement are also used here.
With a click on the Copilot button, the AI support Copilot is available in Windows. In addition, the new Experience Zone in the PredatorSense application offers various AI features and the ability to customize device settings and personalize keyboard lighting effects as well as monitor the notebook’s system health.
Price and availability
The Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 will also be launched in June 2024, when the notebook will go on sale from a recommended retail price of €1,799.
