Aukey sells its products on Amazon via detours despite expulsion

More than a month ago, the online retailer Amazon cleaned up its act and kicked out several retailers. These had violated specifications of the company and are now no longer allowed to offer their products on the platform.

Violation of the guidelines

Among others, brands such as VAVA, Taotronics, RavPower and Aukey were affected by the ejection a month ago. As a result, the companies have now naturally lost a very large proportion of their sales. Amazon stopped selling products from these companies because they violated existing rules of the company. In particular, these customers have encouraged to leave a review. The customers were lured with discounts and coupons. Such a practice is not tolerated by Amazon, so the company had to react.

Aukey rebels

The company Aukey rebels against Amazon’s decision and has tricked the online retailer. With this, Aukey probably wants to show that they do not agree with the company’s decision. At the moment, a Webcam can probably be purchased from Amazon, which quite obviously bears Aukey’s logo. However, the brand name is not mentioned in the product description. Only this small thing is apparently already enough that Amazon can not locate the products of Aukey to block them. Something from Aukey is also offered on Amazon’s com page. Thus, wireless earphones under the name Key Series EP-N7 can be found here, which also have the logo of Aukey printed on them.

The earphones also do not mention the name “Aukey” in the product description. However, the product page links to a video, which in turn clearly out the earphones as an Aukey product. Aukey uses a different kind of disguise with the Key Series EP-T10 earphones. Here, Aukey’s logo was covered up by another picture mark on the product. However, this one is in the product description for the earphones this time. Even though the offers are sold by third party retailers, they are listed on Amazon and are supplied by the retailer. Thus, Aukey or the third-party retailers clearly violate Amazon’s ejection.
