Compact Processor Cooler be quiet! Dark Rock Slim Introduced

With the Dark Rock Slim, be quiet! has expanded its CPU cooler portfolio with a new compact model. Despite its thin design, the cooler can dissipate processors with a maximum waste heat of 180 watts. The Dark Rock Slim is compatible with all current sockets from AMD and Intel.

The cooler is offered from 14 May for 57.90 Euro.

The maximum volume of the Silent Wings 3 PWM fan is pleasantly low at 23.6 dB(A) thanks to the Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) and the airflow-optimised fan blades. The waste heat from the base plate is dissipated via four copper heat pipes to the aluminium fins. To avoid vibrations, the fan is decoupled from the heat sink by rubber rings. The scope of delivery includes additional retaining brackets, which enable the installation of a second fan for particularly powerful systems.
