Why have one 4K monitor when you can have two? That’s probably what Cooler Master thought when they presented the Cooler Master GP57ZS, a new mini LED monitor, at Computex 2024.
Giant Cooler Master GP57ZS presented
The Cooler Master GP57ZS has a screen diagonal of 57 inches and a resolution of 7,680 x 2,160 pixels, which means that it can virtually display two 4K displays side by side. The monitor uses mini LED technology, which controls the lighting in 2,304 zones. It is therefore even larger and has a higher resolution than Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G9.
The advantage is, of course, that the monitor can display the finest differences in brightness and achieve strong contrasts. Similar to OLED displays, with the difference that Mini-LED is usually significantly brighter.
Usually, because the manufacturer has yet to provide specific details on the brightness of the Cooler Master GP57ZS. At least we know that a refresh rate of 120 Hz is realized, which makes the monitor suitable for gamers.
According to DisplaySpecifications, two HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and USB-C 3.2 ports are available for image reproduction. Connected devices can be charged with up to 90 watts thanks to PowerDelivery.
