Cooler Master MM730 and MM731: New lightweight gaming mice with innovative design

Cooler Master has introduced two new gaming mice that focus on lightweight construction and innovative design. The Cooler Master MM730 and MM731 weigh less than 60 grams and come without any holes at all.

The features of the Cooler Master MM730 and MM731

Unlike the Cooler Master MM720 (our review), the newly introduced gaming mice allow for a particularly low weight without the mouse being covered in numerous holes.

In addition to the unperforated case, both mice are equipped with pure PTFE glide feet and an Ultraweave cable, which are responsible for excellent gliding properties and less friction. Also included is a grip tape that can be attached to prevent slipping, for example, when the hands are sweaty, for even better control over the mouse.

Both models feature a high-quality optical sensor with an adjustable DPI of up to 19,000 and optical switches for longer durability and improved responsiveness.

Wireless or Wired

The difference between the Cooler Master MM730 and MM731 is in the connectivity: The MM731 is the wireless version of the MM730 and can be connected via 2.4 GHz WLAN or Bluetooth. Battery life is 72 hours with 2.4 GHz and a whopping 190 hours with Bluetooth connectivity.

The wired MM730, like the wireless MM731, also features a new optical encoder in the scroll wheel that offers advantages in responsiveness, durability and delay compared to a mechanical scroll wheel.

The wired Cooler Master MM730 weighs 48 grams, while the Cooler Master MM731 weighs 59 grams due to its 500 mAh battery.

Prices and Availability

Both Cooler Master MM730 and MM731 gaming mice are available now at an MSRP of 69.99 euros in the case of the MM730, and 99.99 euros (MM731) in black and white, respectively.
