Corsair MP600 SSD with PCIe 4.0 for AMD X570

Corsair introduced a new Force Series SSD at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan. The Corsair MP600 is the first SSd with PCI Express 4.0 support for the new AMD X570 chipset in conjunction with Ryzen 3000 processors.

Corsair specifies the read rate with up to 4,950 MB/s and the write rate with up to 4,350 MB/s. This is significantly faster than the previous NVMe SSDs that ran over PCIe 3.0. This is made possible above all by the new interface. However, the MP600 is also downward compatible and can be operated at lower speeds via a PCIe 3.0 port. Corsair relies on 3D-TLC-NAND and a Phison PS5016-E16 controller.

The Corsair MP600 SSD is expected to be available from July, a price has not yet been announced.
