Dell Precision 5560 and 5760 laptop for professionals

With the two Dell Precision 5560 and 5760, the company has released a professional version of the XPS series. Classy in design, with a thin case and powerful in performance, the Dell Precision bring a lot more to the table.

Precision series for professional users

Recently, Dell introduced the new XPS models 15 and 17. Now, variants for professional users are coming out with the Precision 5560 and 5760. The models are externally identical to the XPS models, but they differ more on the inside. The Precision laptops also use the Intel Tiger Lake H chip, but they also support vPro. In the small version, the Dell Precision starts with a Core i5-11500H with six cores and a clock rate of up to 4.6 GHz. The maximum then goes up to the Intel Xeon W11955M with up to 5.0 GHz and eight cores.

Graphically, a maximum of an Nvidia GeForce RTX A3000 with 6 GB GDDR6 graphics memory is available. In addition, up to 64 GB of DDR4-3,200-ECC memory is possible, as well as up to two PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs, which can be operated as RAID.

Display in 15 or 17 inches

Depending on the model, the Precision offer a 15-inch (5560) or 17-inch (5760) 16:10 display. In base form, both laptops are equipped with a 60 Hz fast panel and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. They achieve a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Optionally, Dell also offers a 4K display with Gorilla Glass coverage, a maximum brightness of 500 nits, and full Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 color space coverage.

Availability and Pricing

The two new Dell Precision 5560 and 5760 will be available for configuration from Dell starting June 01, 2021. No price information is known yet; the manufacturer will only publish it at the market launch.
