MSI presents lineup for 2023

MSI presented its upcoming product lineup at the Computex 2023. In addition to the Raider GE78 HX Smart Touchpad, Stealth 16 and Creator Z17 notebooks, we got to take a look at MSI’s Nvidia GPUs and brand new peripherals.

MSI comes with new notebooks

We start with the Raider GE78 HX Smart Touchpad Gaming Laptop, a true computing machine. The heart of this powerful gaming machine is an Intel Core i9 processor from the 13th generation of the HX series. Once again, a GeForce RTX 4090 from Nvidia is supposed to provide for gaming performance in a class of its own. In combination with a high refresh rate, the best entertainment is to be offered here. The highlight of the gaming notebook is already hidden in the name. It has an intelligent touchpad, which is supposed to provide maximum operating comfort.

The MSI Creator Z17 HX Studio Laptop is the second notebook to enter the race. According to the manufacturer, the focus here is on “aesthetics and performance”. Since the notebook not only comes in an extremely slim unibody case, but also has rich hardware under the hood, the plan seems to work out, at least on paper. An Intel Core i9 CPU of the 13th generation as well as Nvidia GPUs of the 40 series speak for themselves. The exclusive MSI Vapor Chamber Cooler heat design is supposed to ensure a consistently good performance.

Hardware for demanding gamers

As befits the greats in gaming hardware, MSI naturally has a partnership with GPU king Nvidia. The MSI GeForce RTX 40 series should not only be able to offer enough performance for gamers. Creative users should also be able to benefit from the hardware power. Apart from the graphics cards themselves, MSI has also been able to shine with new self-developed technology. Thus, hybrid-cooled TEC GPUs with an exciting thermal design were presented. In line with the graphics card news, MSI also scored with other hardware.

Firstly, the manufacturer presented ATX 3.0 power supplies that are tailor-made to fit Nvidia GPUs. Furthermore, there were updated motherboards of the Z790 series on display. The manufacturer doesn’t only want to expand the RGB options here. On top of that, the new models are supposed to bring more security and facilitate the installation of SSDs. There is also supposed to be progress in terms of potential connectivity. The Spatium M480 Pro is supposed to score with sufficient performance. Thanks to PCIe 4.0, speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s should be possible. The fast SSD is optionally available in 1, 2 or 4 TB sizes.

New desktop PCs and monitors

MSI also had news in store for friends of stationary gaming behemoths. With the MEG Trident X2 13th, a desktop PC equipped with Intel Core i9 and GeForce RTX 4090 GPU comes rolling towards us. It features Silent Storm Cooling 3 technology and a practical touch panel. MSI has also provided for a suitable offspring in the field of in-house monitors. With MAG 274UPF and MAG 323UPF, the company has presented two gaming monitors with up to 160 Hz. However, the company is particularly proud of its Red Dot Award 2023 winner in the form of the MD271UL.

The 4K monitor measures a screen diagonal of 27 inches and is not only supposed to be visually appealing. A large color space coverage as well as the EyesErgo eye protection mode ensure that you can work with the device in the best possible way. Suitable peripherals have also been provided for. The MSI Vigor GK71 Sonic gaming keyboard is a lightweight keyboard. The MSI Clutch GM51 Lightweight Wireless Gaming Mouse should be a perfect match. It has a particularly ergonomic design and is extremely fast thanks to the PixArt 3395 sensor. The MSI Immense GH50 Wireless Gaming Headset is supposed to provide the correspondingly good sound.
