Predator XB323QU: 32-inch monitor from Acer surfaced

Acer already presented three new gaming monitors at this year’s CES. Another new model has now appeared on the Chinese trading platform Taobao: The Predator XB323QU is a 32-inch WQHD device.

Technical features

Since an official product launch aimed at the general public is missing so far, all reports about the device’s equipment are based on the key data deposited on the mentioned trading platform. According to these, the screen is supposed to be able to display 1.07 billion colors, but the type of panel is not named. The brightness is 400 candela per square meter according to the data. The statement that the monitor is certified according to the VESA standard DisplayHDR 400 matches the stated brightness. Furthermore, it is reported that the device is compatible with G-Sync as well as Free-Sync, whereby the Free-Sync support comes about via Adaptive-Sync. The specified color distance of Delta E ≤1 seems unlikely, which is hardly offered by a gaming monitor.

The screen is said to be adjustable in height and equipped with pivot function. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and four USB ports are specified as connections. A headphone jack, two stereo speakers and an RGB LED light strip are to be added.

Price and Availability

In China, the screen is said to cost 8,000 yuan, which corresponds to about 1,000 euros. It should be available there from March 2021. There is no information yet on the availability in other parts of the world as well as the prices to be expected there.

The Predator XB323QU is not the first Acer monitor to appear in Chinese online stores for the first time. The Predator XBC323U model, which is now also available in this country, was also first discovered this way.
