FEB 990 Smart: (Almost) Fully Configurable E-Fully Bike presented

Manufacturer Velo de Ville has presented with the FEB 990 Smart an exciting e-fully bike, which scores especially with its individual customization options.

Normally, you might determine the frame size or the color for e-bikes. But the FEB 990 Smart from manufacturer Velo de Ville is different, because here you can configure almost all components individually.

At its core, it’s an e-fully that’s at home both on the road and in rough terrain and is supposed to provide a high level of riding comfort thanks to full suspension. It is powered by a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 85 Nm of torque and eMTB mode, and initially comes in two equipment packages.

The “Cross” package includes, for example, a VDV Sport saddle and off-road tires from Schwalbe (Schwalbe Johnny Watts 65-584). In the “Premium” package, on the other hand, 150 lux bright headlights from Busch & Müller, a taillight from the same manufacturer and pedals with industrial ball bearings find place.

Configurable is the FEB 990 Smart for example with a diamond frame with high or a wave frame with low entry, here there are also distinctions in the heights.

Many customization options

In addition, you can choose between different frame sizes and then first determine the circuit. Between a Shimano Nexus circuit with 5 gears, a 12-speed circuit Shimano Deore XT to an Enviolo TR and Eviolo AUTOMATiQ is the choice.

Once that is selected, the desired frame shape and height can be specified. A total of 17 color schemes are available for the FEB 990 Smart, which are offered not only in glossy, but also in matte paint for an additional charge of 50.00 euros.

Depending on the selected circuit, you can then also customize the brakes, for example, choose a different display on the handlebars, change the stem and handlebars or replace the standard 500 Wh battery with a 625 Wh battery for a longer range for an additional 200.00 euros. Even a GPS smart module from VELOMATE can be added if desired.
