Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce: New AiO coolers from 240 to 360 millimeters

Gigabyte has introduced three new compact water coolers in the sizes 240, 280 and 360 millimeters. The Aorus Waterforce series positions itself just below the already known Waterforce X series and does without an LCD display, which should speak for a lower price.

Visually, the new Waterforce series from the Taiwanese manufacturer is strongly reminiscent of the X series, but there are a few differences in the details. In addition to the omission of the LCD display, the increased hose diameter, which has been increased to 7.8 millimeters, is particularly eye-catching. This is said to optimize the water flow by 37 percent.

Furthermore, the new models rely on ceramic pumps, which are supposed to provide better durability and heat conduction, according to Gigabyte.  The CPU’s caps can be rotated 330 degrees, which should allow them to be mounted at entirely new angles. The fans are also equipped with a graphene nano-lubricant bearing, which are said to significantly reduce noise and friction while increasing the lifespan by 2.1 times (73,500 hours).

Keeps Intel Core-i9 11900K cool

Gigabyte is particularly proud of the cooling performance of its Aorus Waterforce coolers. For example, even the smallest model at 240mm is said to be able to keep the heat of the Intel Core-i9 11900K in check, and even when overclocking the cores to 5.1 GHz. The current AMD AM4 socket should also be supported, according to the manufacturer.

As a cooling temperature display, the AiO coolers rely on an ARGB display that intelligently shows the current CPU temperature using different colors. In addition, Gigabyte equips the Waterforce coolers with a whopping 5-year warranty.

Price and Availability

The Aorus Waterforce series in 240, 280 and 360 millimeter sizes should be available soon. The manufacturer has not yet named prices or a release date.
