The GPD Duo surprises with a unique display configuration. It has two foldable AMOLED displays that offer outstanding image quality and color accuracy. Both displays are 13.3 inches in size and come as touchscreens. They have a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels in 16:10 format, but only reach 60 Hz and are up to 400 nits (or 500 nits for HDR content) bright.
This dual-display option enables an extended work surface, which is particularly useful for multitasking and creative work. For example, users can work on one screen while simultaneously displaying additional information or tools on the other. In addition, both screens can be used on top of each other as one 18-inch screen in 16:20 format, albeit with a hinge in between.
However, the upper display can also be folded back to use the Duo as a tablet with stylus support.

The GPD Duo is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX-370, one of the most powerful mobile processors on the market, which was only unveiled at Computex 2024. This processor offers outstanding performance for demanding applications and games. With high computing power and efficient energy consumption, the Ryzen AI 9 HX-370 is ideal for the GPD Duo.
The processor performance is complemented by the Radeon 890M graphics card, which delivers impressive graphics capabilities. This combination of processor and graphics card makes the GPD Duo a real powerhouse that is suitable for both professional applications and demanding gaming. Depending on the configuration, the manufacturer also installs 16 GB to 64 GB LPDDR5x-7,500 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 SSD with a capacity of up to 4 TB. An additional, free M.2 slot is available.
Extended connectivity with OcuLink
Another outstanding feature of the GPD Duo is the OcuLink Connector. This technology offers a fast and flexible connection option for external devices. OcuLink allows users to connect the GPD Duo to additional displays, external graphics cards or other peripherals without compromising performance.
The features are rounded off by a 5 megapixel webcam with ultra-wide-angle lens, stereo speakers, two microphones, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and a UHS-II card reader. There is also a USB-C port with support for USB 4.0 and 100 watts of power delivery, as well as another USB-C port (10 Gbit/s), two USB-A ports (5 Gbit/s) and HDMI 2.1. The battery is 80 Wh and should provide a battery life of up to 30 hours.
