The price-performance ratio of the new Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro is excellent. The manufacturer has now unveiled the two new devices in China.

While the Honor 200 is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, the Pro model comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and offers correspondingly higher clock rates and a more powerful GPU.

Both variants come with up to 16 GB of RAM and a maximum of 512 GB (Honor 200) or 1 TB of system memory (200 Pro). The Pro model is also slightly larger thanks to its 6.78-inch FHD OLED display, measuring 163.3 mm x 75.2 mm x 8.2 mm and weighing 199 grams.

The Honor 200, on the other hand, has a screen diagonal of 6.7 inches and measures 161.5 mm x 74.6 mm x 7.7 mm and weighs 187 grams. Both smartphones are delivered with MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.

The battery is 5,200 mAh in each case and can be charged with up to 100 watts via cable. The 200 pro also charges wirelessly with up to 66 watts. Both devices also support 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 including LDAC and aptX HD, but there is no water resistance.

Impressive camera setup

There are also differences between the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro when it comes to the cameras. Both smartphones come with a 50-megapixel main camera, which is slightly brighter on the Pro with f/1.9 compared to f/1.95. The sensor of the Pro model is also slightly larger.

The 50-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 is common to both smartphones, as is the 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera (f/2.2) with autofocus. The 50 MP selfie camera (f/2.1), which offers 2D face recognition, is also identical. The Pro model also offers a ToF sensor for 3D face recognition.
