HyperX Cloud Stinger S: 7.1 gaming headset now available

The HyperX Cloud Stinger S is a new gaming headset with 7.1 sound. Thanks to a powerful 50 mm driver, the new headset from the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company will be able to offer immersive surround sound.

A lightweight for gamers

Despite extensive technology, the HyperX Cloud Stinger S is said to be a true lightweight. At just 275 grams, it will be comfortable to wear for several hours. The comfort is to be further enhanced by the rotating, soft ear cups. But the lightweight headset should not only be comfortable. It also offers high-quality surround sound. The virtual 7.1 sound not only offers immersion in the game, but is also intended to enable better enemy location. The high audio quality is made possible by the directional driver, which offers a proud size of 50 mm. This ensures that the sound reaches the ear directly.

Manufacturer promises high price-performance ratio

According to HyperX, the Cloud Stinger S is aimed specifically at gamers who want high-quality surround sound at a good price-performance ratio. Bianca Walter (Business Manager of HyperX EMEA), for example, says that the Cloud Stinger product family is aimed at “offering gamers great sound and comfort at a fair price”. According to the initial information, the manufacturer’s promise does not seem so unlikely.

For example, the new headset is to have comfortable ear cups with a cooling leatherette cover. In addition, practical features are on board. In addition to a microphone that automatically mutes when the headset is folded down, the upcoming headset also has resistant steel brackets that can be easily adjusted. The volume control can be adjusted on the headset itself. When it comes to the quality of the microphone, HyperX has the blessing of the experts. The passive noise cancelling system from both Teamspeak and Discord has the appropriate certification. This should make the HyperX Cloud Stinger S a tailor-made headset for many gamers.

Price and availability

The surround sound headset is now available for purchase in the HyperX >/a> online store at home page. There it is offered for 69,99 euro. But Corona does not leave the manufacturer HyperX without a trace. Accordingly, the manufacturer is already warning that there may be delays in delivery.
