Jackery, a company specializing in portable and environmentally friendly power solutions, unveiled the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus at Intersolar Europe 23. This unit is the first in a new series of solar generators that offer modular expansion options, lithium iron phosphate cells and high-efficiency portable solar panels. The central power station delivers 3000 watts of output power and has a capacity of 2042 watt-hours, which can be increased up to 12 kWh by adding up to five battery packs.
Fast charging times and sustainable performance
Charging times for the Explorer 2000 Plus are remarkably short: the power station can be fully charged in just 1.7 hours from a 230-volt outlet or in 2 hours using six Jackery SolarSaga 200W solar panels. The Battery Packs can be charged in parallel with up to six modules. Specially developed fast-charging technology combined with an intelligent battery management system (BMS) ensures that battery life is extended by up to 50 percent through staggered charging algorithms.
Flexible connectivity and expandable capacity
With 3000 watts of continuous power and up to 6000 watts of short-term peak power, the LifePO4 Explorer 2000 Plus power station can run energy-intensive appliances such as power tools, air conditioners and refrigerators. It has eight outlets: three 230-volt earthed sockets, two USB-A (Quick Charge 3.0, 18 W), two USB-C (100 W) and one 12-volt socket. Capacity can be expanded by adding up to five Battery Packs.
Cost and availability
Beginning June 14, 2023, the new model will be available through Jackery.com, Amazon.com and retailers. The suggested retail price for the Explorer 2000 Plus is 2,299 euros, for a Battery Pack 1,599 euros and for the solar generator, consisting of the Powerstation and the SolarSaga 200W module, 2,899 euros.
