A real cinema experience on the go is promised by the Jireno Cube4, which will be launched next week with a campaign on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. 4K decoding, a full HD image and a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens speak for the cube.
The Jireno Cube4 features
The Jireno Cube4 LCD projector relies on native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and is capable of capturing and converting a 4K input signal. Thanks to HDR10+, contrasts are displayed particularly close to reality, while the maximum brightness of 500 ANSI lumens allows for a maximum projection image size of 200 inches. This means that all image and video content is shown to its best advantage.
Inside, the Jireno Cube4 is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 system memories. Combined with a powerful chip and the specially developed JI-OS operating system, the projector should be able to handle even the most demanding tasks. It can also easily install apps like Netflix, Google, Spotify, YouTube or Facebook.
The makers also rely on a handy and at the same time robust design, which makes the Jireno Cube4 fit for outdoor use as well. The case made of aluminum in the color space gray is also fully sealed and protected against dust penetration.
The necessary cooling is provided by a particularly quiet and efficient system that consists of two fans. Manufacturer Jireno promises that the operating noise of the Cube4 should be quieter than normal ambient noise.
In terms of ports, USB Type-A, USB Type-C, HDMI and a 3.5 mm jack input for use with headphones are offered. Wirelessly, the Cube4 transmits via dual-band WI-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, and Bluetooth 5.0 is also supported.
