KLEVV introduces three new M.2 NVMe SSDs

Manufacturer KLEVV has introduced three new premium SSDs in M.2 format that are aimed at enthusiasts. The models CRAS C930, C910 and C730 differ in terms of performance, the former two models even come with an optional heatsink.

The top model of KLEVV’s M.2 NVMe SSD lineup goes by the name CRAS C930. It uses a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and supports NVMe 1.4. With a 1,500 TBW lifetime and DRAM cache buffer, the SSD is well equipped for heavy workloads.

Thanks to PCIe-4 connectivity, the CRAS C930 achieves speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s read and 6,800 MB/s write with the maximum capacity of 2 terabytes. It is said to be capable of up to one million IOPS with 4K random read/write operations.

Due to its design and specifications, the C930 can be used not only on PCs and laptops, but also in Sony’s PlayStation 5 console. And if desired, it can do so with the heatsink including flat fins, which allows temperatures to be reduced by up to 20 percent.

KLEVV CRAS C910 for gamers and content creation

Positioned below it is the CRAS C910, which also relies on a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4. This model is supposed to be aimed at gamers in particular, as well as being designed for content creation.

Thanks to the selected 3D TLC NAND Flash chip, the M.2 SSD achieves up to 5,000 MB/s or 4,800 MB/s with a capacity of one terabyte. Also included is an extra slim, black and white brushed aluminum heatsink.

CRAS C730 as entry-level model

The entry-level model is marked by the CRAS C730. It relies on PCIe Gen 3×4 and NVMe 1.3 and is located in the mainstream segment. DRAM cache buffering, a self-monitoring, analysis and reporting technology (S.M.A.R.T.) and a special thermal throttling algorithm are offered.

The SSD is available in capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB, with a peak sequential read performance of up to 3,700 MB/s – at least for the 2 TB model.
