Lenovo ThinkVision T27hv-20 – 27-inch office monitor introduced

Lenovo really steps on the gas! New ThinkBooks, ThinkPads and now there’s a new monitor from Lenovo. The ThinkVision T27hv-20 is the ideal monitor for the office.

Technical details

The 27-inch monitor displays 60 Hz with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It reaches a brightness of 350 cd/m² and covers 99 percent sRGB. In order to protect the eyes from stress without color distortion by the Natural Low Blue Light technology, the monitor was certified by TÜV Rheinland Eye Cofort and Eyesafe. In addition, the Smart Energy function turns off the screen as soon as the user moves away from the device. This saves energy and protects the user’s data.

The monitor can be connected with a USB-C port or via DisplayPort 1.2. To allow external devices to be connected to the monitor, the ThinkVision has a USB hub, a USB-C and 4x USB 3.2 Gen1.

Application recommendation

The Lenovo ThinkVision T27hv-20 is particularly suitable for professional use. It has a 1080p IR/RGB webcam, a noise-canceling microphone and two integrated speakers with 3 watts each.

Features like these make it easy for users to participate in conferences and meetings via video. If a meeting is currently in progress, the screen warns others by a red light to avoid running through the image. For this purpose, the ThinkVision has a fold-out holder for the headset and an audio connection.

The Smart Guard ensures greater security. The Smart Guard adjusts the sharpness of the screen as soon as the user moves away or moves away from the screen. The contents of the monitor are thus no longer visible. The same effect occurs when someone looks over the shoulder of the user. This is detected by the integrated camera and immediately implemented,

The swivel base of the ThinkVision T27hv-20 ensures movement. It enables the screen to be raised, tilted and swivelled.

Lenovo offers with ThinkColor a Display Control Center, this helps the user to master the extensive screen settings. For IT managers, seamless multitasking through single and multi-screen control and easy remote asset management are included.

Availability and price

The Lenovo ThinkVision T27hv-20 will be available from the end of January 2021 at a price of approximately 419 Euro.
