LIAN LI Uni Fan AL V2 and Strimer Plus V2 presented
Case and PC accessories manufacturer LIAN LI has introduced new RGB products. With the Uni Fan AL V2 and Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR, two cryptic article names await you, behind which new fans in two different sizes and a particularly heat-resistant cable in three versions await.

Perhaps the most exciting new feature of the LIAN LI Uni Fan AL V2 is the new corner lighting, which is visible from both the front and back of the fans offered in 120mm and 140mm. Using LIAN LI’s L-Connect 3 lighting software, the LEDs can be controlled individually for each corner and blade edge to create a look all your own.
In addition to the improved look, the AL V2 also features improved performance thanks to its thicker 28mm frame, realizing speeds of up to 2,000 rpm, which is a 20 percent increase in airflow performance compared to its V1 predecessor.
Just like the SL V2, the LIAN LI Uni Fan AL V2 allows bridging two clusters of fans (up to 6 fans) with a single control connector using only two cables. The first cable bridges both clusters and the second is a single cluster-to-control cable that handles both RGB and PWM – so the number of cables compared to the V1 is reduced by half.
The UNI FAN locking system has also been redesigned to be removable, allowing the last fan at the end of a cluster to make a clean transition while improving compatibility with heatsinks.

LIAN LI Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR
LIAN LI Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR is a 12VHPWR connector cable with customized design at the GPU end. The connector follows the ATX 3.0 standard of 12 + 4 pin with improvements to its original design to provide a stronger connection to the GPU and uses materials to ensure connection durability.
16-AWG wires allow for the provision of bi to 600 watts, which should allow the cables to withstand higher temperatures and extra severe bending, even right near the connector.
“For additional bend tolerance, a portion of the connector housing can be removed, allowing the extension cables to bend even closer to the connector and improving compatibility of large GPUs with tight PC chassis,” the manufacturer reveals.
In conjunction with ATX 3.0 standard power supplies, there are two Strimer options to choose from that feature a 12VHPWR connector on the power supply cable end. The first features a wider array of LEDs with 12 light guides and can be connected to an existing Strimer L-Connect 3 controller at the 3 x 8 pin slot for instant compatibility.
The second option, on the other hand, comes in a narrower design with eight light guides and is compatible with the 2 x 8 pin slot of the existing Strimer L-Connect 3 controller. For older power supplies without 12VHPWR, a variant of the V2 with 12VHPWR 12 + 4 pin to 3 x 8 pin is available, allowing direct connection to modern graphics cards.

LIAN LI Uni Fan AL V2 and Strimer Plus V2 are available for pre-order now for example at Caseking. The RGB fans are available in 120 mm and 140 mm sizes, as well as in white and black colors. The 120mm fan is priced at $27.99 USD individually, or $89.99 USD in a three-pack. The 140mm model is only available individually and that for $30.99.
The LIAN LI Strimer Plus V2 12VHPWR has an MSRP of 59.99 USD (12 + 4 pin on 12 + 4 pin with 12 light guides) and 49.99 USD for the 12 + 4 pin on 12 + 4 pin and 12 + 4 pin on 3 x 8 pin variants with eight light guides each.
