There is a lot going on in the peripheral market at the moment. Logitech G has also introduced two new devices. The manufacturer expands its headset portfolio with the Logitech G335, which comes in summery mint in addition to the obligatory black and white colors. The G305 wireless gaming mouse also gets a mint coat of paint to match.
Lightweight and versatile gaming headset
The G335 relies on a similar design to the Color Collection wireless G733, which was extremely well received by gamers worldwide. In direct comparison, however, the new wired headset weighs significantly less: at around 240 grams, the G335 aims for high comfort.
This is also due to the springy, elastic headband, which distributes the weight of the headphones better. The headband can also be adjusted for an even better fit, while the ear pads can also be slid up and down.
The feel is similarly comfortable on the ears, where breathable memory foam ear cushions with sport mesh are meant to balance pressure and comfort. At the same time, compatibility with the PC and all current or older consoles, as well as mobile devices, is ensured thanks to a 3.5mm jack port. Fortunately, there is even a Y-splitter in the scope of delivery.
Strong technology and clever ideas
The volume of the Logitech G335 is controlled via a volume wheel on the ear cup. For the muting of the microphone, the manufacturer has come up with a special trick. This happens when you simply flip the microphone upwards.
The built-in 40 mm neodymium drive coils, which reach an impedance of 36 ohms and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz, are supposed to provide a convincing sound. The unidirectional microphone is Discord-certified, here Logitech promises crystal-clear sound.
To match the Mint variant of the headset, Logitech is also launching the already familiar G305 gaming mouse in the new color, which earned the Gold Award in our review.
Price and Availability
The Logitech G335 Wired Gaming Headset will be available in July at an MSRP of €69.99. Pre-ordering on the manufacturer’s website is available now. Interchangeable headbands in eight different colors are also available at a price of €9.99.
The new Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse in Mint will also launch in July, priced at €59.99.
