Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed: Compact gaming keyboard with key control

Logitech is shrinking its gaming keyboard from last year and is launching the Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed, a keyboard with a 60 percent layout that does away with the number pad and F keys as well as the arrow keys. However, a function called Keycontrol ensures that functionality is retained.

You really have to like a 60 percent layout. After all, there are only the letter and number keys next to the most important functions. Now Logitech is also offering such a gaming keyboard with the Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed, which is technically based on the TKL version from last fall.

However, Logitech relies on key control technology to maintain functionality. This allows up to 15 functions to be assigned to a key via the G HUB app. In combination with G-SHIFT, an advanced function that can be assigned to almost any key, a virtual key level is created that allows individual assignments.

With dimensions of 290 mm x 103 mm x 39 mm, the Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed is naturally extremely compact and comes in a choice of black, white or pink. It works wirelessly in the 2.4 GHz standard without latency or can be paired via Bluetooth. According to the manufacturer, the battery life is 65 hours.

On the left-hand side, the manufacturer has also included a volume dial and equipped the keyboard with high-quality dual-shot PBT keycaps. The optical switches are the company’s own GX switches, which can be tactile or linear. Of course, synchronizable RGB lighting is also included.

Prices and availability

The Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed can now be pre-ordered in the manufacturer’s online store and will go on sale on April 16. The keyboard is priced at 199.99 euros
