MagniumGear Neo Qube 2: Chic PC case also comes in Infinity Mirror style

With the MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 and Neo Qube 2 IM (Infinity Mirror Edition), the manufacturer belonging to Phanteks has introduced a chic new mid-tower PC case that aims to score with a coherent look, many features and a convincing airflow.

The MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 in detail

MagniumGear. Never heard of it? Maybe you know the manufacturer still under the name Metallicgear. Since 2018, the manufacturer belonging to Phanteks acted independently and now appears under a new name due to the enormous growth within the company.

At the same time, the MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 is a new edition of the popular PC case Neo Qube (our review), which is also available as Infinity Mirror Edition. This is an uncompromising showcase mid-tower with a futuristic look.

Inside, the Neo Qube 2 relies on a dual-chamber design that makes installation easier and hides the cables behind the divider. On the other hand, the installed components are easily visible through the double Tempered Glass panels and can be perfectly staged. In the noble IM edition, the whole thing looks even more impressive thanks to infinity mirrors, of course.

A lot of space

The MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 has a built-in D-RGB controller that lets you manually adjust the lighting. This can also be synchronized with other compatible lighting products if desired.

Generous mesh panels on the back and side panel provide excellent airflow, while a dust filter on the bottom protects against dirt ingress. Cable management is also a breeze thanks to the spacious dimensions.

Measuring 270 x 450 x 460 mm, the mid-tower brings a net empty weight of 8.80 kg. It also supports the motherboard standards E-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX and can be equipped with plenty of components.

Three 120 mm fans can be installed on the side, bottom and top. Alternatively, you can use a maximum of two 140 mm fans on the top and bottom. Radiators with a size of 360 mm can also be mounted on the side, top or bottom, whereby there is also room for a 280 mm radiator on the top. The hard drive cage can be easily removed if not needed.

In total, you have 8 PCI slots, two 3.5-inch and a full five 2.5-inch slots at your disposal. The spacious MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 case also accommodates high-end graphics cards up to 410mm long and CPU coolers with a maximum height of 148mm.

Price and Availability

The MagniumGear Neo Qube 2 PC case will be available in stores in July 2022. It will be offered in the regular variant and the Infinity Mirror Edition, each available in black or white color schemes.

The MSRP is 129.90 euros for the normal Neo Qube 2 in black, or 139.90 euros in white. The IM edition starts at 169.90 euros in black, or 179.90 euros in white. All information can be found on the product website of the manufacturer.
