Lian Li releases new SFF case Q58

LIAN LI offers a new small form factor case in black and white with the Q58. The side panel, which is composed of a glass surface and a mesh grille, is particularly eye-catching. Despite its compact design, the 14.5L ITX case offers plenty of space for large cooling solutions.

A lot of space

At just 14.5 liters, the Q58 is compatible with a wide range of hardware, supporting SFX and ATX power supplies, radiators up to 280mm, 320mm long graphics cards that are three slots thick, and still has enough room for 4 SSDs. The Q58 is equipped with the necessary mounting brackets for SFX and ATX PSUs, offering versatile cooling compatibility for high-performance components.

In SFX as well as ATX mode, the Q58 case supports mini-ITX motherboards and large GPUs with a length of 320 mm occupying three slots. In SFX mode, however, the Q58 can accommodate up to two 120/140mm fans or 240/280mm radiator on the top and one 120mm fan on the bottom.

In ATX mode, the Q58’s cooling compatibility is reduced to one 120/140mm fan/radiator on the top and one 120mm fan on the bottom. All fan power and LED cables can be easily connected to an addressable 5 volt ARGB and PWM hub on the back of the case.

The manufacturer also counteracts the problem of the lack of onboard memory of Mini-ITX motherboards with the Q58. Thus, the case offers enough space for up to four SSDs or three SSDs and one HDD. The first mount is a hot-swappable SD card-style bay on the front of the case that requires no tools. While an SSD can be mounted behind the motherboard insert in SFX PSU mode, and another SSD can be mounted on the bottom of the case in place of the 120mm fan in both SFX and ATX PSU modes, the top of the case’s fan/radiator bracket can also be equipped with a storage expansion bracket for a 2.5-inch SSD or a 3.5-inch HDD.

Daei, Lian Li focuses on a stylish as well as functional design for the Q58 case. The black Q58 has a unique look with an aluminum front bezel with a two-tone finish, while the white version goes for a harmonious design of all-white front bezel, white silkscreen on the glass bezels, and silver thumbscrews.

The left and right sides of the case are divided, feature a lower fine mesh bezel and a dark tinted tempered glass bezel. All bezels are easily removable and allow access to the inside of the PC case. They are also interchangeable: the optional accessories catalog includes various elements to customize design and performance.

For example, on the side you can choose between full grille for better air circulation and full glass for a better view of the hardware. A dual-LED strip set, available separately as an additional accessory in black or white, can be added to the top and bottom of the right and left side bezels to complement the look of the case. In addition, users can swap out the tempered glass side bezels of their Q58 with grilles using the Q58 Grille Set.

Price and Availability

The Lian Li Q58 in black and white colors has been available for pre-order since September 17, 2021. The PCIe 4.0 edition has an MSRP of 159.90 euros, while the PCIe 3.0 counterpart costs 129.90 euros. The delivery is supposed to take place, for example, at the online store Caseking from September 24.
