Together with the University of Wuppertal, nerdytec has further developed the Couchmaster and thus not only improved the design, but also made further connections and improvements.
Better connectivity
Overall, the new CYCON² couchmaster has become sleeker and more functional. Until now, cable management on the underside of the Couchmaster could only be achieved with tools. nerdytec has improved this point, now a strong magnet holds the cables where they should go. The magnet also withstands stronger loads and nothing slips. For more safety one screw per cover is included in the delivery. In addition, the new Couchmaster CYCON² is now equipped with six USB 3.0 ports including a quick charge port, which allows the connection of even more devices at the same time. The design of the cushions has been adapted, they are now less bulky and there is more space left on the sofa. This means that the cushion now only has a width of 85 cm. In order to save space and connections, the CYCON² combines the wires for the optional power supply and the USB connection into one cable. The CYCON² itself is made of high-quality recycled plastic and is produced in an environmentally friendly way. The wrist-rest is ergonomically adapted and made of animal-friendly high-quality artificial leather.
A lot of storage space
On the sides of the Couchmaster there are pockets for the remote control and the smartphone, because these things also want to be in good hands. There is also a small side pocket for drinks and for even more storage space there is also a large mesh pocket on the side. Devices up to 900 mA do not even need an additional power supply with the CYCON². The Couchmaster also comes with a gaming mousepad and self-adhesive Velcro tapes to fix the peripherals. The side cushions of the CYCON² measure 60 x 20 x 16 cm and the support measures 81.5 x 35 x 3 cm (L x W x H). The CYCON² Couchmaster has an internal clearance of 75 cm, providing enough space for a comfortable round of gaming. The Couchmaster is particularly interesting because it is seated backwards, so nothing stands in the way of a long evening at the console.

The Couchmaster CYCON² can now be pre-ordered in the colors black and gray at a price of 159 euros. The regular price will then be 179 Euro.
