New Full Tower: Thermaltake Core P8 TG

Thermaltake adds another case to its Core series. With the Core P8 a full tower case is added.

The case is equipped with three 4 millimeter thick tempered glass side panels, which make the left side as well as the front and top visible. What’s special about the Thermaltake Core P8 TG is that it can not only be put down, but can also be mounted hanging on a wall.

The case’s interior is optimized for custom water cooling. Thus, up to 18 120 mm or 12 140 mm fans can be mounted. There is space for a 480 mm radiator at the front, 420 mm at the top, 480 mm to the right of the mainboard and 240 mm at the bottom. The Pacific Core P5 DP-D5 Distro-Plate is also supported. Magnetic filters at the top, right and bottom ensure that there is no dust.

Mainboards in E-ATX format can be accommodated as well as CPU coolers 180 millimetres high. The graphics card may be limited to 280 millimetres by a reservoir, otherwise it can be up to 320 millimetres long. The graphics card can also be mounted vertically due to the rotatable PCIe slots and the included riser cable. The ATX power supply has a space of 200 millimetres.

The Core P8 also offers enough space for hard drives. Up to seven 2.5 or three 3.5-inch drives can be installed.

The Thermaltake Core P8 TG is expected to be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2020 for $199.99 RRP.
