OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2: New Version of Bluetooth Earphones Announced

OnePlus has announced a new version of the Bullets Wireless Bluetooth earphones, which can be pre-ordered in the company’s official online shop for 99.00 Euro.

The second generation offers a number of improvements over its predecessor, including an update to the Bluetooth standard from version 4.1 to 5.0 and aptx HD certification for improved sound quality. The “old” OnePlus Bullets Wireless didn’t have the HD add-on yet. Aptx HD offers a real advantage only in combination with high-quality music files and a certified playback device.

The compact in-ear headphones cover a frequency range from 20 to 20,000 Hz. According to OnePlus, the company has been seashell-based in its design. In combination with the three built-in drivers, this is said to have improved the audio quality compared to the predecessor.

Thanks to the “Warp Charge” technology, the earphones can be recharged in a short time without the need for a special power supply. Due to the constant capacity, the battery life will not differ significantly from its predecessor. The battery continues to be charged via USB type C. A separate Quick Switching button allows quick switching between two paired devices.

Delivery in Germany will begin on 21 May 2019.
