OnePlus Pad Go: Inexpensive Android tablet launches in Germany

Manufacturer OnePlus entered the tablet segment last spring with the OnePlus Pad and followed up with a cheaper alternative in the fall with the OnePlus Pad Go. This is now finally being launched in Germany and can be pre-ordered with a launch discount.

OnePlus Pad Go is coming to Germany

The OnePlus Pad Go will finally be launched in Germany on April 23. A pre-order campaign has now been launched on the manufacturer’s website. Anyone who pays 1 euro for the tablet will receive a discount of 30 euros on the device on release. The remaining amount must then be paid by April 26 before delivery begins on April 28.

However, the manufacturer will not reveal how much the tablet will cost in Germany for another week or so. In India, where the device was launched last year, OnePlus charged the equivalent of around 270 euros (23,999 Indian rupees) for the mid-range tablet. We assume that the price in Germany is also likely to be around this range.

The OnePlus Pad Go uses a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with eight cores clocked at up to 2,200 MHz. It also has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of system memory, which can be expanded by up to 1 terabyte using a microSD card.

The tablet is equipped with an 11.35-inch IPS panel with a 2.4K resolution of 2,408 x 1,720 pixels, a brightness of up to 400 nits and a frame rate of 90 hertz. Four speakers, including Dolby Atmos, should ensure a rich sound, while the high-resolution audio codecs aptX HD and Sony LDAC are also supported.

The battery of the OnePlus Pad Go has a capacity of 8,000 mAh and should provide long runtimes. A runtime of 14 hours for video playback and a standby time of up to 21 days are to be achieved. Charging takes place with a maximum of 33 watts, with pre-orderers also receiving an 80-watt power adapter.

The tablet has an 8-megapixel camera at the front and rear, while an LTE modem is installed for connectivity. OnePlus does not provide details on the Wi-Fi standard.
