Oscal presents PowerMax 300 power station

Today, everyday life is hardly imaginable without electronic devices. This makes power outages or even camping weekends without network coverage all the more difficult. For these cases, it is worthwhile to take precautions with the appropriate equipment. Oscal, known for its outdoor smartphones, occupies exactly this niche and presents the PowerMax 300, a portable power station that ensures sufficient power supply everywhere. The PowerMax 300 scores in several areas: Battery life, flexibility, compatibility and eco-friendliness are writ large at Oscal.

Battery: plenty of power and long life

Among other things, the PowerMax 300 is equipped with a powerful battery that has a capacity of 266 Wh. This allows several hours to be bridged without any other power supply. A mini-fridge can be operated for over five hours, for example, or a laptop can be charged more than five times. Oscal uses NCM batteries, which are smaller and denser than conventional batteries. This not only ensures a lower battery weight, but also an astonishing service life of up to 1,000 charging cycles. Added to this is the resilience of these batteries, which guarantee that the Powerstation can be used at temperatures between -10 and +40 degrees Celsius.

The battery can be charged in three ways: by alternating current, by gliding current and via the car. Charging via solar panel is also possible. This allows great flexibility in using the box, which can then be recharged again and again even when on the move. Another advantage is the fact that the battery fills up to 80 percent within just 4.5 hours. Long waiting times are therefore not necessary. The box is fully charged in six hours.

Connections: Variety and support

Oscal advertises that its new PowerMax 300 power station supports 99 percent of electronic devices. This is made possible by a variety of connection options. These include a 300W AC output, 2 DC outputs and an auto-charging output (total power of 120W), as well as 3 USB-A ports. In addition, there is a 60W USB-C fast charging port. All standard household devices can thus be conveniently supplied with power via the power station.

Comfort: display and decibels

The new PowerMax 300 box also aims to score points with comfort. For this purpose, it is not only equipped with an LCD screen from which all relevant information about the status of the power station can be read, but also with an intelligent fan that reaches a speed of up to 4,000 revolutions per minute and only switches on when it is needed. The power station is quiet when the fan is not in use: Values of 35 dB are not exceeded then. An ergonomic handle, which makes the box easy to transport, also contributes to the comfort. All this is rounded off by the use of recyclable materials and an LED light with SOS mode.

Price and availability

The new PowerMax 300 power station will be available Oct. 23 via Amazon. The retail price is 199.99 euros. With our discount code DEPM300W you can get it for 129.99 euros.
