Futuristic design
The PlayStation 5 is very futuristically designed in black, white and blue. You can like it, but you don’t have to. Because it’s a very special style that doesn’t fit into every living room. The curves are curved and the look is very filigree.
The console can be placed either standing or lying down. The console is quite thin in comparison to the Xbox and therefore lying down is really flat.
The new DualSense controllers are similarly modern in black and white. This also applies to the other accessories shown. Here Sony showed an HD webcam, a wireless headset, a charging station for the gamepads and a media remote control.
Hardware, prices, availability
Even though it is now known what the new PlayStation 5 looks like. Technically we are still no further. It is already known since the beginning of the year that a custom SoC with AMD’s Zen 2 architecture is used for the CPU and RDNA 2 for the GPU. In addition, an 825 GB NVMe SSD is also being installed.
Prices and availability have not yet been mentioned. It is assumed that the market launch will be shortly before Christmas 2020.
