While the flagship devices from Apple, Samsung and others continue to rise in price, there are other manufacturers that offer similarly good technology at a significantly lower price. For example, what the new POCO M6 Pro has to offer is impressive. In addition to a large Flow AMOLED screen, you get 67 W Fast Charging, a powerful MediaTek Helios G99-Ultra and an impressive 512 GB of internal memory. Let’s take a closer look at this price-performance cracker.
POCO M6 Pro: Flagship for the masses
January 11, 2024 is the day. POCO wants to present its latest smartphone, the M6 Pro. The focus will once again be on lots of technology for a low price. The subsidiary of the gigantic tech group Xiaomi has always scored with flagship features at a significantly lower price than the competition. It is therefore not surprising that the company sees itself as a forger of high-performance smartphones for the mainstream. The M6 Pro is now set to pick up where the last M models left off.

POCO M6 Pro: Flow AMOLED with 120 Hz
The flagship feeling should be apparent from the very first glance at the screen. POCO refers to this as Flow AMOLED. “Flow” is probably no coincidence. A refresh rate of a high 120 Hz should ensure that moving images flicker across the screen as smooth as butter. In turn, a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits should ensure that you can see everything clearly even in bright sunshine.
The strong color depth of 10 bit should ensure great colors when looking at photos or videos. An in-screen fingerprint sensor is also concealed under the screen. The great display should also make a positive impression when gaming. However, the hardware is much more important here. And with a MediaTek G99-Ultra, we certainly don’t have to worry about its performance.
According to POCO, this is currently the most powerful 4G chip on the market. It is manufactured using the 6-nanometer process based on the TSMC model. It is supported by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. According to POCO, the hardware should ensure butter-smooth gaming and blazing-fast multitasking.

POCO M6 Pro: Super fast charging with 67W
The camera performance should also be impressive. A triple camera with an impressive 64 MP works on the back. The three different lenses make it possible to switch between different photo modes. Whether wide-angle or macro photography – the M6 Pro is said to be a real jack-of-all-trades.
The battery technology with which the M6 Pro is to be launched certainly sounds impressive. The 5,000 mAh battery can be charged via fast charging with 67 W. Just a few minutes are enough to ensure that the smartphone can be used for a few more hours.
Official presentation on January 11
On January 11 at 13:00 German time, the time has come. The new POCO M6 Pro will then be presented to the world public in Beijing. You can follow the official livestream on YouTube or X (formerly Twitter). However, the facts that we know at the moment are already whetting our appetite for more.
