A height-adjustable standing desk is already very practical. But the innovative Revoxen goes several steps further, as it also features a 17-in-1 docking station and an integrated SSD. The exciting project has now been launched on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Revoxen: 17-in-1 standing desk on Kickstarter
Standing desks like the Flexispot E7 (our review) are a fine thing. The Revoxen is now launching a particularly exciting model on the crowdfunding platform that stands out from the competition thanks to its additional features.
The desk itself can be adjusted in height between around 73 centimeters and 118 centimeters, and the adjustment is supposed to be particularly quiet and only 45 dB loud. What makes the standing desk so special, however, is the built-in 17-in-1 docking station.
On the right and left side, as well as on the tabletop, you’ll find a wide variety of ports. On the left, there are two USB-A ports, one AUX port, two USB-C ports, and an SD card slot. On the right, there is an additional USB-C and USB-A port. On the tabletop, devices can be connected via an Ethernet port, two monitors via HDMI, and a third via DisplayPort 2.0 via USB-C.
There is also another USB-C port, which also charges other devices with up to 100 watts via PowerDelivery. The makers even thought of a wireless charging pad. Thus, devices with up to three monitors can be operated simultaneously, which even realize an 8K resolution via DP 2.0.
SSD directly in the desk
Furthermore, the Revoxen offers the possibility to install an SSD directly in the desk. The 2242, 2260 and 2280 formats are supported, as well as capacities of up to eight terabytes. Dnk cable management also allows cables to be hidden and routed inside or behind the large drawers at the front of the standing desk.
Offered is the Revoxen 17-in-1 standing desk in two sizes with a width of around 140 centimeters, as well as with around 152.4 cm (five feet). The tabletop is always around 60 cm thick and is available in a choice of walnut, pine or white. For the feet you have the choice between a white and a black color scheme.
Price and Availability
The innovative 17-in-1 Revoxen standing desk is currently funded via Kickstarter and has long since exceeded its funding goal of 6,159 euros. Currently, the campaign still has 23 days left.
Prices start at around 384 euros for the smaller table and around 480 euros for the larger 150 cm wide table. Delivery is then expected to take place worldwide from May 2023.
